Group Facilitation and Clinical Practice
- Design, plan, and facilitate therapeutic group sessions for clients in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychoeducation) relevant to mental health and/or substance use disorders.
- Manage group dynamics, address conflict, and ensure a safe, confidential, and therapeutic group environment.
- Maintain a caseload and conduct weekly 1-on-1 individual SUD counseling sessions
- Maintain a client-centered and culturally sensitive approach to care.
Documentation and Compliance
- Complete all required clinical documentation promptly, accurately, and in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, progress notes, group summaries, and incident reports.
- Contribute to the development and revision of treatment plans in collaboration with the IOP team.
- Ensure all IOP services are delivered in adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
- Other job-related duties as needed
Collaboration and Professional Development
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and case conferences.
- Collaborate effectively with the IOP multidisciplinary team, including therapists, case managers, and medical staff, to coordinate client care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to maintain licensure/certification and enhance clinical skills.
- Represent the organization professionally in all internal and external communications.
